Warranty

All of our Hyundai Kia engines come with a 100% guarantee on parts, not labor. Remanufactured or new engines will come with a one year or 18,000 mile warranty- whichever comes first. Used engine warranties will vary depending on year/make/model and mileage of the donor vehicle. 

1) Engines must be installed by a certified mechanic, no back-yard billy installs. Formal Repair orders must be sent to us upon the mechanics completion of installation. Date, Mileage, Vin# and Full Customer information must be included within this repair order. 

2) The first Oil Change must be performed and documented after one-thousand miles and every 5,000 miles thereafter. FACTORY RECOMMENDED OIL & FILTER ONLY. All subsequent Oil Changes must be documented & performed by a licensed mechanic

3) All cooling system components should be replaced preventatively using factory OEM parts. After-all this could very well be the reason why your last engine failed! Warranty will be void if engine overheated due to faulty cooling components (not included with the engine) and or negligence on part of the driver/mechanic. 

4) Warranty period begins on delivery date of the engine to the repair facility.  If our engine is disassembled in any way prior to approval, then warranty is automatically void.  

5) Engines are sold as "Long-blocks"- Block, Heads, Oil Pan, Timing Cover & Internals. No external components are Warrantied. No warranty on any external parts (Ancillary) failure as they are the original parts from the old engine. Ancillary components include but are not limited to: alternator, starter, ac compressor, oxygen sensors, fans, wiring, coils, computers, catalytic convertors, belts, radiator are not covered. 

6) We are not responsible for labor costs to change the engine and we are not responsible for consequential damage, such as tows, rental cars, or anything extra.  Prior approval from HK engines is required before any warranty related work is performed by a third-Party.
